Google Android vs iPhone, which one is for you?

Android platform is a little bit hard to summarize in a word or two. Vast availability of different manufacturer embraced Android makes it a hard choice to pick one. The new incarnation of Android 2.0 phones, like the Motorola Droid and Sony Ericsson Rachael is one good example of my statement. As of now, it’s a no brainer that Motoroal Droid is a good phone with over 576,000 sales in the first month of its release, just a little less than iPhone’s 600,000 sales 2 years back.

Personal opinion, I would choose the new phones based on Android 2.0 OS  over iPhone 3Gs. Reason? Simple enough, better customizability and hardware configuration that make senses(for the price I pay!). On top of that, Android sounds modern compare to iPhone which everyone feels bored now, probably due to being a new comer in the phone industry; ignore my statement, it was plainly for fun.

Lastly, it was forecasted that Android market’s total applications will surpass Apple store in 2012, and the same goes to the adoption rate for the phone. But lets not forget that Apple is having a next major upgrade for its iPhone this year, rumoured to be called iPhone 4G, sounds misleading but good in the sense of marketing name. If Apple continues to be stingy, the forecast could be realized without doubt.

Good article though with some point you might missed out. Just to add; iPhone doesn’t have video call. It was such a pity with a high end phone but doesnt comes with video call, i wonder what will Macaholics react when they saw your article here.
