HP Mini 2140
2008 is a dawn of a netbook, many will opt for netbook instead of the big chunky and clumsy notebook for mobility. The most obvious advantage of netbook over note is its size and battery life. A 10inch netbook can last over 4-5hours while a 17inch notebook hardly run over 2hours, duh! Of all the netbooks I’ve gone through, HP Mini 2140 is the most wanted for anyone looking for one.
Here is the summary of the specs:
CPU: Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz
RAM: 1GB
Hard Drive: 160GB
Monitor: 10inch LCD
Graphics Hardware : Intel GMA 950
Operating system : Windows XP Home edition
Summary of nice Most-wanted features: slim, beautiful(the exact opposite of Asus netbook), aluminum build, almost full size keyboar, branded (well, would you prefer Acer or HP?).
The price? Starting at RM1,599(~USD 430 ) ( the last I checked in LowYat Plaza ). It was priced reasonably well, but if you top up a few hundred bucks you can get a big and chunky low end notebook. But hey, aren’t you looking for a small, light, powerful(well, not really), which nicely fits into your LV bag?
