Asus Eee Pad Transformer with Android Honeycomb 3.0 vs Apple iPad2

Verdict
It purely boils down to what you need. If you truly need a mobile substitute for your desktop computer, I’ll recommend Asus Transformer for you. Reason? The keyboard dock did make a big difference for the tablet. It lives up to its name. With the keyboard dock, the Transformer transforms to a netbook and gives you external storage via SD-Card and two USB 2.0 ports, lest not forget the extra battery in the keyboard dock as well.

On the other hand, if you like an entertainment device and you love the “premium” brand of Apple, make no mistake by getting the iPad2. The apps make it a good entertainment device. But keep in mind that the $499 wi-fi version comes with only the iPad itself. You’ll have to buy the apps to make your iPad2 a “true” entertainment device and ultimately it might totalled up substantially more than what you initially pay for. Well, unless you jailbreak your iPad.

@coolhandluke try load any flash based website with your iPad2, or if you dont have one, try play around a demo unit at your nearest Apple store. Apple iphone and ipad doesnt support Adobe flash, period.
