How to unlock core with a AMD Phenom II Athlon II X2/X3 processor

Unlocking cores is the new trend in the overclocking community. It gives consumer a power boost unlike any traditional overclock. It is a win-win solution for both the customer and the manufacturer. As the processor which is deemed unusable as a quad core will be binned and sell as dual core and triple core, depending on the usable core count. In actual fact, most cores are usable, you just need an extra bit of voltage bumping to the processor. In some cases, AMD actually sell their quad core Phenom II X4 as Phenom II X2/X3 processor. Lucky buyers will be happily unlocking the core by ACC without any voltage upping at all. From my opinion, unlocking is much easier than overclocking the clock speed of your processor. Down as at +8GMT 4.00 a.m. It happened earlier actually. Could it be hackers attack? Denial of service?  Who knows. I have swapped my internet connection to another ISP to have a try but to no avail ( i’ve got two ISP service :) ).

Very sorry to Intel folks, this awesome cpu tweaker is not available for Core2Duo, Core2Quad, Core i3, Core i5, Core i7 basically any cpu manufactured by the blue team Intel. This tool was named K10stat for a reason, and that was because it only supports K10 family of processor from AMD; from the old first generation Agena Phenom to the latest Phenom II. Though only the latest Phenom II/Athlon II will benefit most from this superb tweaker. How is this done?
