Instant Messenger Robot demoed at International Robot Show in Taipei August 5, 2009

It is not something really new, as this fully utilized the speech recognition technology. However, this piece of Pokemon (well, it sure looks like one from that famous anime), able to detect speech pattern and send as a message in text format over the internet via the Microsoft Messenger software. One thing I do concern about was, how accurate is the speech recognition? The last I remember using the Vista speech software, it did give my mouth a full 2hours gym and finally give it up. I end up cursing more than speaking to the microphone.

The new AMD 785G chipset

The days are numbered when IGP (integrated graphic processor) offers miserable graphic performance. Thanks to AMD, we got a very solid IGP solutions with the 780G chipset released last year.
